Childcare is provided. Time: 7 pm – 8 pm.

Theta Kappa (Daughters of the Lord)

Theta Kappa is a sisterhood (sisters in Christ), for girls in the 6th to 8th grade. The Theta Kappa leaders desire to help our girls see themselves as the Lord see them-instead of seeing themselves the way the world defines them.
We want to help them to recognize the personality traits and gifting the Lord has placed in them.
We hope they will be able to recognize their strengths and weaknesses- one girl’s weakness will be another girl’s strength (and vice-versa). We can teach them how to help cover each other’s weaknesses and be accountability partners.
After they get a revelation of who they are in Christ and begin to see themselves as he does, they can begin to Love themselves, which will make it easier for them to love each other. When they begin to understand how He feels about them, they will also begin to understand that He feels the same way toward their peer. This makes it easier to see people through His eyes.

Mission Statement: To stand in the gap in prayer support for our Pastors, our church ministries and our Kingwood family. To pray for our city, county, state and country. To teach and train and to network with Kingwood Ministries to provide support and to assist them in every way we can.

Ez 20:32 “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.

Acts 20:23 Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance amoung all those who are santified.
